We are Lea and Axel, the two founders of miba.
You are probably wondering how we came to create miba .
Two little furry friends who stumbled into our lives play a very big part in this.
We would like to take you on our little journey...
When we adopted our two cats Millie and Balu from Kitmir Tierhilfe Demirtas eV at the beginning of 2021, we wanted to give two animals who had had a bad start in life in Turkey a new and loving home. 
The special thing about these two is that they are highly sensitive cats and sensitive to food. That's why we had to feed them highly digestible and nutrient-rich proteins right from the start. This led to a months-long search that didn't bring us any satisfactory results.
And the idea of miba was born.
In Denmark, while eating pizza on the beach, we decided:
We're taking matters into our own hands now! We're starting a business! 🖤
Together with our producers, we wanted to develop a food that would provide dogs and cats with the best possible nutrition and the highest quality, depending on their respective living conditions. It is particularly important to us that we protect our planet and make production sustainable, all for the benefit of our animals.
We spent months working closely with our great producers to deepen and develop our idea. This resulted in the unique miba Care concept .
This concept is so unique because we make sure to use only high-quality and highly digestible proteins and to provide our cats and dogs with all the important nutrients they need for a healthy and symptom-free life.
Our various miba Care Lines include:
Insect protein-based food Insect Line , fish protein-based food Fish Line , vegan-based food Vegan Line and food for cats and dogs that require a veterinary diet Vet Line .
The recipes and ingredients of the miba Care Lines are adapted to the requirements of our pets’ modern diet.
miba is not only our company, but our absolute heart project.
We want to enable our animals to live a long and healthy life and make our planet a little bit better.
Because not only is the love for our pets huge, but also the love for our environment. That's why we want to leave at least a small CO2 paw print on our earth by saving CO2 through fewer slaughters and paying attention to sustainable production and packaging for our food. 🌎 🌱 🐾

Two cats from the animal shelter
When we adopted our two cats Millie and Balu from the Kitmir animal welfare organization Demirtas eV at the beginning of 2021, we wanted to give a new and loving home to two animals who had a bad start in life in Turkey.
What's special about these two is that they are very sensitive cats when it comes to nutrition and are allergic to many animal proteins.
Therefore, from the very beginning, we were dependent on feeding highly digestible and alternative, nutrient-rich proteins.
This led to a search lasting several months, which was no fun for us.
which yielded a satisfactory result.
And that's how the idea for miba was born.

It is particularly important to us that we protect our planet and ensure sustainable production, all for the well-being of our animals.
We spent months refining and developing our idea in close collaboration with our fantastic producers. This resulted in the unique miba Care concept .
Our concept is unique because we ensure that we use only high-quality, highly digestible proteins and provide our cats and dogs with all the essential nutrients they need for a healthy and comfortable life. Our food contains hydrolyzed proteins, which is effective for those with intolerances to various protein sources. Hydrolyzed proteins are easily digestible, and their production process helps prevent intolerances and allergies.
What miba is for us
miba is not just our company, but our absolute passion project.
We want to enable our animals to live healthy and long lives and, in doing so, make our planet a little bit better.
