Here you can find all information about our miba food.

What does the miba care concept mean?

At miba, we have made it our mission to offer all dogs and cats the best possible nutrition, depending on their current living conditions.

By dividing our diet into our currently four different lines, the miba care concept can use our diet specifically to combat food intolerances of all kinds.

The miba care concept is designed for you so that you can easily find the right diet for your furry friend's current living situation.


Why are many of your varieties hypoallergenic?

Our dog and cat foods are developed and designed to have a very low risk of allergic reaction.
That is why we always use only one animal protein source (monoprotein) in our hypoallergenic dry food and only use hydrolyzed proteins.


How can I change the usual food to miba food?

Not all dogs or cats accept a new food right away.
Some furry friends are real gourmets and are not very enthusiastic about it.

It is better to slowly switch the food to our miba food over the course of a week and mix it into the usual food in increasing proportions.
Here is a suggestion from us on how the change can best be achieved:

Day 1 + 2:
25% miba & 75% usual food
Day 3 + 4: 50% miba & 50% usual food
Day 5 + 6: 75% miba & 25% usual food
Day 7: 100% miba


Is your food suitable as a complete feed?
Yes, our varieties are suitable as complete feed and meet all the necessary requirements that your furry friend needs for a healthy life.

Is your food also suitable for cats with kidney and liver insufficiency?

Yes, we have currently developed a special veterinary diet for cats with kidney and liver failure. You can find this in our Vet Line .

Our liver and kidney diet for cats has been developed according to the latest EU and FEDIAF regulations. It meets all the guidelines that must be observed in this regard and has been veterinarian-tested.


Where is your food produced?

Our dry food is produced in the Netherlands according to our product suggestions.
This producer is characterized by sustainability, animal welfare as well as energy-saving and
modern production facilities.

The great collaboration between miba and the Dutch manufacturer enables us to continue to rely on alternative and sustainable pet food for our four-legged friends now and in the future.


Does your food provide my pet with all the nutrients it needs?
Absolutely! All of our varieties meet the requirements of a complete food. Your furry friend's daily nutritional needs are therefore covered.

Do you conduct animal testing?

Clearly: no!

All of our partners and we at miba do not conduct animal testing .
Animal testing has no place in our vision and beliefs.

Furthermore, we do not use attractants, granulated sugar, chemical preservatives or genetically modified organisms in any of our products.


What is the miba Club?

We created our miba Club for breeders, managers of animal shelters or animal welfare organizations.

Members can benefit from exclusive advantages, promotions and other great benefits.


Why don’t you make vegan food for cats?
Unfortunately, there are currently no scientifically sound long-term studies on vegan food for cats. A purely plant-based diet for cats does not meet their basic nutritional needs and is therefore not acceptable to us at the moment.
If more well-founded studies become available in the medium term, we will of course keep you updated.

My furry friend doesn't have any allergies or intolerances. Can I still feed him your food?

In any case!
Regardless of whether you have intolerances, allergies or are completely healthy, you can feed our varieties to any furry friend without hesitation. With our hypoallergenic varieties , you can feed your cat or dog completely.
Our food has a high protein and nutrient content and serves as a complete feed.
You can also feed our hypoallergenic varieties prophylactically to prevent allergies from occurring.

How long does shipping take?
Your package from miba will reach you within 3-5 days, unless otherwise stated in your shipping confirmation.

Where can I find my tracking number?

You will find the tracking number of your package in the shipping confirmation email you received from us.

If you can no longer find your tracking number, please send us an email to hello@miba.pet and we will help you.


Who do I contact if I have questions about my order?
